Happy Monday, Noosers! We have a fun one for you today. We’ll start you off with a little riddle…What's something everyone wants, almost no one gets enough of, and no amount of money, apps, or lavender pillowcases can guarantee you more of?…If you said sleep you are right! Just look at us. Trying to grab a snooze wherever we are, ha! We haven’t formally devoted an entire Noosletter to sleep yet, but we think it’s time. We're not here to add another item to your bedtime routine or tell you to put your phone down. We both share a little personal narrative, dig into the science of what sleep deprivation does to your hunger and your hormones, and revisit one of our favorite thinkers, Ellen Langer, whose work on perception might just change the way you think about your worst nights.
