Happy Monday, Noosers! With daylight savings this weekend, we’re sure everyone is still adjusting, and the last thing on your mind is starting your day earlier. But, with spring around the corner and the days getting longer, we are both excited for lighter, warmer mornings. More mornings than not, Anne and I wake up early, whether to run together or do our own strength workouts at home. Oftentimes, we hear from friends and family, “you guys get up so early to workout — so intense!” Sometimes it comes with a side of, “I could never do that” or “ugh, so early, woof!”
We thought we’d share what our morning routines are and why they are important to us — and because everyone always wants to know what other people are doing, we’ve asked some pretty cool friends (Christina Fagan, Founder of Sh*t That I Knit), family (Anne’s sister, Abigail & Avery’s mom, Meg), and Substack writers (former Editor in Chief of Women’s Health,
and Military Resilience Instructor, ) about their morning routines, in case you’re looking for inspiration!Read along for tips, inspo and some insight into why waking up a little bit earlier can get your day started the best way possible — on your own terms.
